With #1 on the line Southwestern came to town and showed why they hold a national ranking in Division II of the MCLA. Their passes were crisp and their shots accurate. The first six minutes of the game looked like this was going to be a “game” but the Pirates shut out Sam in the second quarter and closed the half with a 13-1 lead. Michael Mann scored the lone Bearkat goal. In the 3rd quarter things were not much better as only Baron Copeland could find the net on an assist from Mann. Two fourth quarter goals my Mann and one by Neal Thompson just couldn’t bring the Kats back in the game. Alex Badour had the assist on Mann’s final goal.
The next game is on Saturday, April 4th against SFA and the site was recently moved to Pritchett Field from SFA. Game time will be announced shortly.
